Chinas National Trade Interest and Rules of Origin

摘要：

ROO has been widely used as a grey trade policy instrument.China has not pay great attention to ROO legislation in the past two decades, which has caused great loss to national trade interest. Many researches have pointed out the weaknesses and recommended changes in Chinas ROO legislation. So, the close relationship between national trade interest and ROO urges China to fully realize the significance of ROO laws and to make adjustment.This paper investigates the shortcomings and challenges of Chinas ROO legislation. Proposals have been provided as well.The conclusion of this paper suggests that China could use ROO to defend national trade interest.
