PORE STRUCTURE OF CEMENT MORTAR HYDRATED AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE AND CO2 CONDITIONS
This paper describes an investigation on the pore structure of cement mortars under theaccelerated carbonation conditions of 0% and 10% CO2 and the cured tcmperature at 20℃and 60℃. Specimens of 0.35, 0.5 and 0.65 water/cement ratio mortars were examined.Porosity of specimens was measured by using a mercury intrusion porosimetry. Thecompressive strength of the samples subjected to the accelerated carbonation for 30 days with10% CO2 tends to be higher than those with 0% CO2, and samples accelerated at 60℃ tendto be higher than those at 20~C. Total pore volume (TPV) of samples subjected to acceleratedcarbonation for 30 days with 10% CO2 and cured 60℃ tends to be lower than those with 0%CO2 due to the effect of the densification of microstructurcs by carbonation.
