A Study of Lenovos Overseas Acquisition and Integration
With the increasing economic globalization, the globalization of MNCs and the global economy driven by MNCs accelerates its pace. Enterprise internationalization has served as a key engine to the development of Chinese enterprises and economic growth in a transitional economy. After successful purchase of IBM international PC business three years ago, Lenovo changes from a Chinese enterprise with focus on domestic market to a global leader in PC industry, giving an example of adopting the going-out strategy to other Chinese enterprises. With theoretical review on international purchase and integration and in-depth analysis of Lenovos incentive, process, acquisition integration and performance, this paper intends to provide Chinese enterprises with experience based on overseas acquisition, prevention of risk control and intellectual support.
