Investigation of a Lossless Inhomogeneous and Anisotropic Metamaterial Covered Conductor Cylinder Illuminated by Electric-Line-Source

The electromagnetic characteristics of the model with an electric fine source radiating parallel to a Iossless inhomogeneous and anisotropic metamaterial covered infinitely long conductor circular cylinder is investigated inthis paper.First,the permittivity and permeability tensors of the metamaterial are defined according to Pendrys model,then the wave equationInthe cloak is derived,and through the boundary conditions,the electromagnetic fields of the whole region are calculated analytically,finally,the analytical expressions of the fields inside the cylindrical cloak is demonstrated through numerical results.
