Application of Hydrodynmaics in Design of an Injector-Aerated Deinking Cell
The flotation technology is a key process for improving the pulp cleanness in the preparation of secondary fibers.Flotation deinking cell has been playing a very important role in the flotation process.The step diffuser is a predominant injector used as aeration system in flotation deinking cells now.The application of hydrodynamics in the design of the step diffuser was discussed.Structural design principles of the step diffuser were put forward.A laboratory step diffuser and a laboratory flotation deinking cell were developed in our laboratory.Flotation deinking experiments of waste paper confirmed the superior performance of the newly designed laboratory cell.
