THE DYNAMIC AND STATIC CUSHIONING BEHAVIOR OF THE SPRUCES
Research on the cushioning properties of wood has much meaning for bothcushion package design itself and the development of wood materials or packagefor Wood.This paper presents a research of the dynamic and static cushioningbehavior of the spruces in the large deformation by experiment.Based onGB1935-91 and GB1939-91 of China,the static cushioning behavior is obtained byexperiment,and according to GB8167-87 of China,the dynamic cushioningbehavior is analyzed by the drop hammer impact test.In the dynamic tests,twotesting methods of dynamic cushioning behavior were proposed to remedyinadequacy of Chinese standard (GB8167-87),and a new valid parameter isassumed to describe material dynamic cushioning behavior.
