Labor Market Segmentation in Urban and Efficiency Loss of Human Resources

摘要：

Compared with planned economy, the advantage of market economy is economic efficiency brought by competition. The market segmentation can not realize the resources rational collocation,thus leading to efficiency loss of human resources. Market segmentation represents in the following three aspects in China: labor market stratification, labor market segmentation in urban and distortion of supply and demand. This article illustrates the representations of the labor market segmentation, reasons and its efficiency loss mechanism in urban.
