Emotional Intelligence and its Significance in Education Process

摘要：

The concept of emotional intelligence has recently received ample attention both in the scientific and in the popular literature. The former researchers have discussed the models of emotional intelligence and explored the effects of emotional intelligence on individual development. After reviewed the past researches, we concluded that emotional intelligence plays important role in ones academic success and mental health. So it has significance in school education to pay attention to cultivating the students emotional intelligence.
