Applicability to reinforcement signal of event-related potential

摘要：

We considered to apply event-related potentials (abbr.ERPs) related to a discrimination task to reinforcement signals which distinguished into reward evaluation after successful action and punishment evaluation after an failure action on reinforcement learning.We measured electroencephalogram (abbr.EEG) when the subject identified success or failure of the task.We confirmed there are differences of the EEG depending on whether the success or failure of the task and suggested that ERPs might be used as reinforcement signals.
