The feasibility of giving advice with a new EMA system using a cellular phone
The implementation of ecological momentary assessment (EMA) has been proposed as an appropriate method to collect repeated measurements of behavior and feelings that occur in natural environment.Providing advice for patient consistently compare with routine care is more effective on change behavior.Hence the new EMA system using a cellular phone with e-mail advice has been developed.The system has been made for collecting patients complaints in daily life and then giving feedback to him.The merits of this system are easy data transmission,inexpensiveness,and real time assessment.Several kinds of target symptoms of the patients can be collected and analyzed then send a warning or encouraging e-mail message by the system automatically.The feedback with e-mail advice gives a positive response and hopeful make their daily life better.
