Tongue Texture Classification on Fungiform Papillae Hyperplasia

摘要：

Recently a series of computerized tongue diagnosis approaches have been proposed,involving a few characteristics.But a physiological change of tongue is overlooked,Fungiform Papillae Hyperplasia,which is correspond to pathological alterations usually.We propose a texture classification system for distinguish the tongues with FPH or without in this paper.Firstly,image culling is defined and preprocess is executed to facilitate next feature extraction.Secondly,a 2D Gabor encoding scheme is used for tongue texture feature representation and extraction.Finally,texture images are classified by Linear discriminant analysis.Experimental results are promising.
