An Experimental Research on Attentional Disengagement in Test-anxious Students
Examinations are perhaps one of the main methods of assessment on education.Test anxiety is appeared due to the student who fears of losing the exam.This experiment adopts schematic emotional faces as the stimuli,which is aimed at investigating the difference of attentionai disengagement between high and low test-anxioas students.The results showed that RT which shifted from both negative and red neutral face in high test-anxious group was significantly longer than in low test-anxious group.It means that high test-anxious participants appear difficulty in shifting attention from examination-unrelated threatening stimuli.Finally,we provide some valuable proposals to improve studentsstate of test anxiety.
