A Pilot Study on the Assessment of StudentsAchievements in Learning By Doing(LBD)
Learning By Doing(LBD)in China is one of the most successful Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSE)programs in the world.In order to investigate the studentsachievements,we designed two inquiry tasks to test the difference between the experimental group and controlled group.The result suggests that the performance of experimental group is significantly better than controlled group,which indicates that LBD is significantly more advantaged in promoting studentsinquiry skills than traditional science education.
