Relations between Parent-and Teacher-Reported Chinese Childrens Temperament

摘要：

Firstly,this paper was to examine the difference between parents and teacher in rating childrens behavioral inhibition.The result showed that teacher tended to rate children more behavioral inhibited than parents did,but no difference between mother and father in rating childrens behavioral inhibition.Thus,we infer that the environment may exert influence on childrens behavioral inhibition.Secondly,we tested the relation between childrens behavioral inhibition and their BAS/BIS sensitivity.We found that BI rated by mother positively related to BIS and negatively related to BAS,but In the scores reported by father,BI had no relation with BIS,but negatively related to BAS and its three subscales.Further study will focus on using behavioral observation and EEG/ERP methods to explore childrens temperamental stability across different situations.
