Developmental disorders in the prefrontal cortex of Japanese children

In Japan,there has been much concern about the mental development of children.On the one hand,these phenomena lead us to expect developmental disorders in the prefrontal cortex,as it is often said that “the brain produces the mind. Thus,we have continued to investigate prefrontal cortex function among Japanese children with a method called the “go/no-go experiment Through this investigation,we have made clear that the development of this function in recent children is taking on a different aspect from that of children of the past.This fact shows that the prefrontal cortex of recent Japanese children is having difficulties developing.Therefore we conclude that the development of the prefrontal cortex is an extremely timely problem for the present.
