Cooperation Policy Simulation in Urban Health Care System
In recent years urban health care has gained more and more concerns. The urban Health Care System (HCS) includes Community Health System (CHS) and Medical Delivery System (MDS).The cooperation between these two systems could make the service more convenient and cost-effective,since cooperation improves effective utilization of recourses. The urban HCS is a complex system and extensively involves human behaviors,so it is not easy,if possible,to model it mathematically, and real experiment is either unpractical or too expensive. We therefore study the patient preference between CHS and MDS,and use Agent-Based Modeling and Simulation (ABMS) as a tool to build an artificial HCS and evaluate the cooperation policy that shares the beds and doctors between CHS and MDS.We find that the access time can be reduced by sharing doctors, and over use of beds can be reduced by sharing beds. The result provides some insights to urban health management.
