A Method of Business and IT Alignment Based onEnterprise Architecture
Submerged in the drastic competitive worldwidemarket,enterprises are encountering the challenge of alignmentbetween business and Information Technology (IT).Understanding what business and IT alignment is,how to obtainit and therefore maintain it,is a big issue to every enterprise.And using suitable alignment methods is critical to get this goal.Enterprise Architecture (EA) is an IT management tool to meetenterprises alignment demand.Using EA properly,enterprisescan get their business benefits and improve their innovationcompetency.This paper introduces the alignment original theory,analyzes some alignment issues,and presents a brief introductionof EA common components.After that,a practical method is putforward to fulfill EA development need.
