Real-Time Simulation Of The DFIG-Based Wind Farm Connected To Power Grid
Within more than 20 years of intensive research and development, the wind industry has become a ever promising industry. With the solid background of operational experience and rapid progress in the power electronics, improved performances will be necessary for the integration into the power grid. On the other hand the use of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) systems offers a variety of options to implement sophisticated solutions. This paper proposes the control strategy which is based on the variable speed doubly fed induction generator (DFIG). The stator flux oriented vector control strategy is used to achieve the decoupling of the active and reactive power in dq system. The applications of the two PI controllers help the system to eliminate the oscillation and smooth the start up course. Finally, the whole research work is done on simulink/SPS, and then the RT-LAB real time platform is introduced into the simulation for real time. All the results verify the high performance of the system.
