Modeling And Simulation Of The Optimal Placement Of Wind Turbine In Wind Farms
The domestic and foreign research on the development of the optimal placement of wind turbine in wind farms was briefly introduced in this paper at first. And then, a new simplified wind turbine wake model was deduced and built to simulate the wake effect in flat or lightly undulated topography and offshore wind farms, the calculation expressions of the influenced scope and overlapped effect of the turbine wakes for the incoming wind at any angle were provided, and the cost-benefit model of wind farm project considering multiple factors and the benefit evaluation model of increasing the number of wind turbines in wind farm were developed. Finally, a program using genetic algorithm was made based on the above models. According to the economical efficiency analysis and comparison of the different wind turbine placement schemes for some wind farm project case, the optimal number of the wind turbines and the corresponding placement scheme were determined, by which the validity and reasonableness of the above models were proved.
