Blade Design With The Integrated Modular Wind Turbine Design Tool FOCUS

摘要：

FOCUS is a tool for integrated wind turbine design, developed by WMC and ECN2. For more than a decade, FOCUS is being used by leading companies in the wind turbine industry, including those specialized in rotor blade design. The main objective of the FOCUS software is to provide the designer with a robust tool that guides him/her through all stages of the design process. This paper puts emphasis on the part of the software tool used for blade design.
