Study On The Development Of Large-Scale Non-grid-connected Wind Power Industry

For the sake of improving its energy structure, the development and application of wind power has been thriving. Coastal provinces, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and other places are all planning and building Grand Scale wind farms. The high degree of instability of wind power, however, results in the sharp and random fluctuations of wind power current, which seriously restricts the proportion of large-scale wind power in the power grid. The less-than-10% proportion has become a worldwide problem. Wind power market must be developed towards diversification due to large-scale or super application of wind power and random variation characteristics of wind power. Development of non-grid-connected wind power system is exploitation and practice, which is agreed with the situation of our country. In 1986, the concept of non-grid-connected wind power was first introduced by Professor Gu Weidong. Through 20 years of development and practice, we have made some initial success and formed a certain degree of independent intellectual property rights. This paper concentrates on the strategic goals, the strategic emphases, and the strategic significations of the non-grid-connected wind power development in order to provide valuable consulting services for the diversified development of wind power industry.
