Application of Microwave Heating to Steel Industry and Environmental Technology

摘要：

In the authors group, microwave (MW) processing has been investigated in a laboratory scale, in order to obtain fundamental understanding on the MW heating mechanisms and its application to the real processes. In this study, brief introduction of our studies on MW processing will be presented. They are MW carbo-thermal reduction of stainless steel pickling sludge and Cr containing slag, MW heating for grinding of blast furnace slag bearing Ti, and some recent topics.
