Crystallization of Zr-based Bulk Metallic Glass under High Magnetic Field
The crystallization behavior of Zr60Cu20Ni10Al10 bulk metallic glass has been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and isothermal annealing. The crystallization kinetics of as-quenched and annealed Zr-based bulk metallic glass has been studied by DSC under nonisothermal conditions. The activation energies of the as-quenched and annealed alloys are determined by Kissinger method. The effect of high magnetic filed on the crystallization of the Zr-based bulk metallic glass has been also investigated under certain conditions.
