RESEARCH ON SERVICE SELECTION BASED ON VOTING
The current infrastructure for Web services supports service discovery on the basis of a common repository. However, the key challenge is not discovery but selection. Ultimately, the service requestor must select one good provider. Whereas service evaluations are given from the perspective of providers, and service selection must take the perspective of requestors. In this way, service selection concerns the preference of consumers. Current approaches provide no support for this challenge. This paper addresses the problem of service selection by the mechanism of voting. Our approach presents the way of autonomously aggregating multiple requestors preferences over multicriteria from multiple providers. The selection of suitable service provider can also be implemented on the basis of voting.
