An Approach to QoS-driven Dynamic Service Composition with Context-aware Support

Quality of Service(QoS) is the main factor to differentiate services with similar functionality in ubiquitous computing environment. Although many QoS models have been proposed to support dynamic service composition well, there is still an unaddressed need of context-aware support for QoS-driven service composition. In this paper, we propose a context-based QoS model upon OWL-S to better facilitate service composition process. Based on this model, an algorithm to solve optimal composing problem is also proposed accordingly. Simulation experiments and case study are conducted to show the validity and efficiency of our approach.
