DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A WEB-BASED EXPERIMENTATION FOR NETWORKED TUNING CONTROL SYSTEMS

The rapid progress of networking technologies facilitates the development of control system over networks. As a specific class of control system over networks, Networked Tuning Control Systems (NTCSs) is emerging. However it is very difficult to conduct physical experiment for NTCSs due to the diversity and complexity of communication networks, especially if Internet employed. In this paper, a web-based experimentation is presented and created in the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Power Station Automation Technology at Shanghai University. The aim of this experimentation is to establish user-friendly and efficient technology for interactive on-line research for NTCSs. Furthermore, an experiment example on a typical class of NTCSs-Networked Adaptive Control Systems is conducted to show the features of the web-based laboratory.
