A Face Detector Based on Statistical Estimation for Background

摘要：

In this paper,we propose a face detection method based on statistical estimation for background.According to the characters of facial features provided by Viola,the method utilizes background estimation to produce training data,which improves segmentation performance of the detector.The system applies weight information of neural network to select strong facial features,and a cost function based on weighted examples enhances the classifier’s generalization power.
