Influences of thermoelectric parameters on property of gas sensor
Thermoelectric(TE)material is significant to the property of TE gas sensor.It was commonly taken consideration of the whole performance as ZT value for the utilization of TE materials,which resulted in great constrains on selection scope and preparation method of materials.In this paper,a comparison work had been carried out both on bulk and film type TE materials.Ba1-xSrxPbO3(0<x<1)slats and BiyTe1-y(0<y<1)films with different composition were fabricated,and two kinds of catalyst:Pt film and Pt/ACC were respectively prepared and installed on slats and films to compose TE hydrogen sensors.The influences of TE parameters,including Seebeck coefficient,electrical conductivity,thermal conductivity,power factor and ZT value on output voltage of sensor were investigated.Grey relational analysis was also employed to find out the influential degree of TE parameters on gas sensor.As a result,Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity were regarded as the critical factors to TE material selection for gas sensor.
