Research on the variable voltage variable frequency inverter based on DSP for piezoelectric micro-jet actuator

In order to realize the active flow control for the aircraft to improve its performance,Synthetic jet is one of the highest potential methods at now,because its actuator has a simple structure and easily to be controlled and less power consume.In general,the synthetic jet is generated by the vibration of the membrane of the actuator driven by piezoelectric materials.To realize the adaptive control of micro-flow,the piezoelectric materials must be driven by a signal with high voltage,adjustable frequency and less harmonic.The fundamental frequencies of the conventional power converters are so low that can not drive the piezoelectric materials.In this paper,the power signal converter is capable of providing a stable ac power with variable amplitude and variable frequency over a wide range.It can provide an accurate Variable-Voltage Variable-Frequency(VVVF)ac power by combinative adjusting with dc-dc and dc-ac,and a single-phase doublebridge inverter controlled by DSP is designed according to this field.To realize VVVF for the inverter,Selected Harmonic Elimination PWM is used.Finally the experimental implementation demonstrates that by the signal with high voltage,adjustable frequency and less harmonic,the piezoelectric materials can work well.
