Studying the Properties of Size Films Prepared by Heating Curing
The properties of size materials are usually studied through their films made by natural seasoning.This paper study the properties of size films prepared by heating curing,that is,drying sizing liquor into film under constant high temperature condition,which approach to the practical drying process in sizing.Three widely-used sizing materials were applied and size recipes were decided by orthogonal design based on practical experience.A series of size films were prepared by heating curing method.Main properties of the size films,such as stress-strain,elasticity,and resistance to abrasion were measured and analyzed by statistic method.Some of the performance indexes measured are correlated as expected.The influences of the three sizes on the resistance abrasion of films are ranked.Results show that,heating curing preparation of size film is effective and practical.
