A Study on Hair Care with Human Hair Extracts

摘要：

The extracts from human hair by the way of acid hydrolysis were used to treat damaged hair.Human hair extracts mostly consist of a great variety of peptides and amino acids which could afford nutrition to hair.The effect of human hair extracts on repairing damaged hair was studied.The results indicated that the extracts had a good adsorption affinity to hair and were good at moisture absorption and retention.They not only improved the tension fracture work but also the surface smoothness of hair filaments.They made damaged hair filaments a glossy surface and be easy to comb.Thus human hair extracts had a satisfactory effect on repairing damaged hair.
