Improved Two-Factor Worm Propagation Model on Scale Free Networks
For the scale-free graph is n more accurate modeI of the real network,in this paper,we provide a consideration of worm propagation on scale-free networks.In addition to the same two-factors as the Two-Factor model has proposed (countermeasures taken by isPs and users,the slowed down worm infection rate coming from the congestion and troubles of some routers caused by worm’S rampant propagation),we take hubs’influenee into account.Based on the Two-Factor worm propagation model,we derive an improved worm propagation model to accommodate the scale.free networks.Simulation of this model matches the observed data of Code Red worm better than previous models do.This model leads to a better understanding and prediction of the scale and speed of Internet worm spreading.
