An Improved Coding Algorithm B ased On EZW Algorithm and Human Visual Characteristics

摘要：

The paper proposes a wavelet transform coding algorithm based on visual characteristics after a thorough analysis of the original EZW algorithm.By the tests,the improved algorithm not only bears the effective compression performance of the original EZW algorithm,but also improves the visual quailty of image.
