The Deep-seated Motivation for Foreign Capital to Merge Chinese Enterprises
On the causes of transnational merger and acquisition, foreign scholars have conducted research for a few years. In their view,the reasons including economies of scale, Monopoly Theory,Underestimated the value theory, Coordination effect hypothesis,Multiplex strategy hypothesis, Market influence hypothesis, Transaction expense theory, Time difference effect as well as personal behavior motive etc. The author of this thesis thinks there are three special deep-seated motivations based on the level of economic development and the special conditions of China, for foreign capital to merge Chinese enterprises in addition to the above-mentioned causes, which are Population cause, Resources cause and the national interest motives.
