Carotid shape estimation on transverse B-mode ultrasonic images

摘要：

Arteriosclerosis,i.e.degrading arterial elasticity,causes cerebral infarction and myocardial infarction.Finding initial premonition of arteriosclerosis is important because arteriosclerosis is never cured completely.We therefore propose a method to track the carotid shape by heartbeat in transverse B-mode ultrasonic images for evaluating the local carotid elasticity.
