Modulation of auditory responses with varying signal-to-noise ratios
We measured auditory steady-state responses (ASSRs) in MEG to the sinusoidal tone modulated with various intensities of white noise. The observed behavior of the power and the phase coherence of ASSR in relation to the noise to signal ratios of the stimulus indicated the presence of stochastic resonance in 6 out of 9 subjects.
