An attempt to develop a prosthetic hand system with proprioceptive sensation generation of finger joint angle sensation by vibrating stimulation of muscle tendons

This study attempted to generate the natural proprioceptive sensation by applying mechanical vibratory stimulation to muscle tendons based on Rolls previous study.In result,some users reported that they felt as if their fingers were bending dynamically when their tendon was subjected to vibratory stimulation and that the degree of bending tended to change in proportion to the stimulated duration.
