STUDY ON COLOR MATCHING ON DENTAL PROSTHESES BASED ON MACHINE VISION

摘要：

With the development of the new material technology and the improvement of patients’ aesthetic demands, the similarity of color between the dental prostheses and natural teeth has become one of the important factors in dental prostheses. In this paper, a dental sample database is built and analyzed, a tooth color matching system is introduced, and the feature selection method based on PCA is used to extract the tooth’s image feature. Finally, a dental color matching method based on Support Vector Machines is proposed. It is obvious that this method implements the auto recognition of the dental color with the computeraided processing by the experimental results.
