FACE RECOGNITION ALGORITHM BASED ON EMBEDDED HMM

摘要：

Studies have shown that human face is a random model and change along with the change of illumination and gesture. Consequently, by means of face recognition algorithm based on Embedded Hidden Markov Model (EHMM), this paper extracts face features both horizontal and vertically, and puts forward the application of 2D-DCT to face extraction of EHMM model, which results in high recognition speed and rate.
