An empirical analysis on ERP improving users Decision-Support benefits:Evidences from key users
In this paper, decision-support benefits is introduced as a substitute variable to explain the relationship between the purpose of the implementation of ERP and enhancing decision-support benefits We studied the importance of a variety of purposes to implement of ERP in organizations by questionnaires The traditional ranking order of the purpose of implementation of RRP in China is basically the same as in other countries. However, other countriesranking orders have changed greatly We test the relationship between the purpose of the implementation of ERP and enhancing decision-support benefits and find the two are positively related, and that ERP can help enterprises to enhance the decision-support benefits. A number of standards for evaluation of ERP are established in our study. At the same time, the study of the purpose of implementation of ERP should catch more attention. These conclusions has certain significance to further research and practices in future.
