Learning technologies in fast developing Chinese academic environment:Total innovation,risk management and reliability
Middle and High schools together with Colleges get increasingly involved with international programs to prepare Chinese students for foreign Universities The context of a private school is very interesting to capture the complex nature of the Educational Technologies adoption process in China, for the better and for the worse. The main resistance to ICT adoption in schools is mainly a question of Risk Management and Reliability of control procedures. This case study will describe the relationship of school students to both ICT and ESL It will draw a few guidelines toward improving creativity, the spirit of innovation and excellence for all walks of life. This paper will be very helpful for Educators, School administrators, Educational policy makers and ESL teachers in China and other fast developing countries. It will also shed light on a strange situation alTecting the academic sector It will trigger some good thoughts for ICT risk management and reliability practitioners, researchers, and vendors working in all disciplines of the academic sectors.
