A model of the reliability for one manufacturer and several retailers
The perspective of the demands and the troubles are stochastic, we model a supply chain composed of one manufacturer and several retailers into a Markov process. Using the steady state probabilities of various states in the system, we propose the formulas calculating the out-of-stock probabilities of various retailers, and using the out-of-stock probabilities of various retailers We propose the formulas calculating the degree of the reliability in the whole supply chain and each branched chain. Based on these, we can provide quantitative analyses for the supply chains combination.
