The strategy of test case selection

In order to enhance the efficiency and reduce the cost of software test, this paper proposed a kind of test case selection strategy (TCSS) based on the analysis of existing technology of test case selection. First, according to the structure of program flow diagram, the test requirement suite should be confirmed and initial test case suite should be generated Then analyzed the equivalence relations among test requirements, simplified them and reduced the redundancy in them Finally, iterated and optimized the test case suite continuously with TCSS. It is demonstrated that this method simplifies both test requirements and test cases, with the features of easy realization, real-time performance and high efficiency, and also it is easy to realize for automated test.
