Research on vehicle computer simulation for double crossed step-stress accelerated life testing
A new double stress accelerated life testing(ALT) method for solving reliability evaluation problem of electronic equipments with high reliability and long life is proposed, which is named double crossed step-stress testing, including double crossed step-down-stress testing and double crossed step-up-stress testing. In Weibull distribution, the theoretic model of the testing method is established and the parameter-ratio, which denotes the testing efficiency, is discussed through 10 000 times Monte-Carlo simulation. The simulation results indicate that when m>l, double crossed step-down-stress testing has higher efficiency than double crossed step-up-stress testing, when m<l, the result is opposite. So that the using condition of double crossed step stress testing was ascertained. After that, equipment reliability was evaluated by using simulation testing data. All these prove that the testing method is efficient and feasible, when applied in reliability assessment of long life electronic equipment.
