Study on a calculation model for the reliability of seafarers behavior

Vessel steering is a complicated human-machine system, of which the reliability can be improved by the action of seafarers. The essay discusses the recognition behavior characteristic of human being and the basic features. Based on analysis of the composition of characteristics of steering process, and human features, a reliability model of man-machine control system for steering process is established. The reliability of the system is derived form the reliability of human behavior, which can be derived human behavior patterns simulated by introducing behavior-forming factors and error-correcting, according to human behavior process of perception, decision making, and performance By considering the interference between the probability distribution of job stress and the distribution of the intensity applied to mariners. Simulation results demonstrate that chain management for seafarers behavior can improve the safety of ship.
