The Procedures of Accident Scenarios Identification Using Hierarchical Holographic Modeling
Accident scenarios analysis is one of the most widely used concepts in risk assessment of chemical processing industries, the identification of possible accident scenarios is a key-point in risk assessment. A new methodological framework was presented to identify accident scenarios by using hierarchical holographic modeling. This method was applied to the process of liquefied ammonia storage, and the results showed it is well to identify accident scenarios and reduce the cost of the analysis and prevent undue emphasis on unimportant scenarios at the expense of more important ones.
