Experimental Analysis on Heat Exchangers Condensation and Evaporation Characteristics of R410A Heat Pump in Winter Condition

This paper discusses about heat exchangers condensation and evaporation characteristics for a heat pump using R410A refrigerant. Form the experiments on heating mode in low temperature,the fin-tube heat exchanger coefficients and pressure drops were measured for a given area with O.D.7mm tubes.The results showed that the data on R410A condenser is different from those of evaporators. The average heat transfer coefficient of condenser increases with increasing mass flux and have clearly change with air speed increasing, while the pressure drop of the part increases slightly with increasing mass flux and with condensation temperature increasing.At the same time,the average heat transfer coefficient of evaporator also increases with increasing mass flux and have slightly change with air speed increasing,then the pressure drop of evaporator increases greatly with increasing mass flux and with decreasing evaporating temperature.
