LNG Scheme for Natural Gas Peak-shaving in Cities Based on the Recovery of Pressure Energy in the Gas Transportation Pipelines

The paper analyzed the relationship between pressure energy and the pressure in the pipeline theoretically. In order to recover the pressure energy eontained in the natural gas in pipelines and meet the demand of natural gas peak shaving in eities,this paper put forward a LNG scheme for natural gas peak shaving in cities based on the recovery of natural gas pressure energy in the transportation pipelines. In the scheme, we install LNG equipment of turboexpander or vortex tube in the gas regulator station, and then utilize the pressure drop of the pipelines to cool the gas and make it liquefied for gas peak-shaving.
