Study on the Test and Control System of an Open-cycle Absorption Air-conditioner
The technical developments of refrigeration and air-conditioning mainly focus on the three major aspects such as environmental protection, energy saving and human health in recent years. An open-cycle absorption air-conditioner is successfully developed, which uses LiBr-H2O as working pairs and can provide total fresh air for space cooling. This new type of system consists of an air transportatio module, an air dehumidification module, an air temperature-adjusting module and a solution regenerator module. It is usually driven by the low-grade heat energy, which can decrease indoor temperature by liquid evaporation cooling in the low relative humidity ambient,increase the coefficient of performance, and improve the quality of indoor air with low energy consumption. The configuration and operating principles of the liquid desiccant of air-conditioner with heat recovery are presented. A high-precision test and control system of the open-cycle absorption air-conditioner based on both outdoor and indoor enthalpy-difference method was set up. The enthalpy-difference method may rapidly and truly measure the characteristics parameters of the refrigeration and airconditioning system in the lab. This experimental system has run for two years. The running results showed that this system could meet the demands of performance test of the open-cycle absorption air-conditioning system.
