Energy Consumption Analysis and CFD Simulation of the Combined Evaporative Cooling and Cooling Ceiling Air-conditioning System
The combined evaporative cooling and cooling ceiling air-conditioning system is presented in this paper.The condensation on radiant panels and the insufficiency of cooling capacity can be avoided.Applying this new combined air-conditioning system and the present all outdoor air evaporative cooling system to a project in the city of Lanzhou respectively, energy consumption analysis is carried out using energy consumption code and velocity and temperature distribution in the airconditioned zone is computed using CFD. It is concluded that the new system occupies less building space,reduces energy consumption, improves indoor human thermal comfort and saves initial investment.
